Bruce Blakeman continued his campaign's momentum today, scoring endorsements from more law enforcement & public safety groups: the Fire Marshal Benevolent Association of Nassau County, Lynbrook Police Benevolence Association and New York State Federation of Police.

"I'm extremely grateful for the endorsement of three more outstanding law enforcement and public safety professional groups -- Nassau's Fire Marshals Benevolent Association, the Lynbrook PBA and the New York State Federation of Police. I'm ready on Day One to go to Washington and fight for more cops and enhance both hiring, programs and equipment for these law enforcement professionals to keep our communities and families safe and secure," said Bruce Blakeman, the Republican-Conservative-Independence nominee for Congress in New York's Fourth District.

Last week, Blakeman picked up the endorsements of multiple major local law enforcement groups -- the Nassau County PBA, Nassau Detectives Association, Freeport PBA, New York Police Chiefs' Benevolence Association and the New York Police Veterans Association.

"The Nassau Fire Marshals Benevolent Association endorses Bruce Blakeman for Congress. Bruce will change Washington. His strong background in homeland security will also serve our neighbors well in the nation's capital," said Fire Marshals Benevolent Association President Jerry Flower.

Lynbrook Police Benevolence Association President Joseph Cipolla also gave his group's enthusiastic nod to Blakeman. "The Lynbrook PBA and its Executive Board are excited to endorse Bruce Blakeman for Congress. Bruce has the experience and law enforcement background to be our next Congressman. We know he'll go to Washington and fight for federal funds to empower local law enforcement to protect our communities and safely do our jobs," Cipolla said.

"Bruce Blakeman is an ardent supporter of law enforcement. The New York State Federation of Police endorses and fully supports Bruce's campaign for Congress because of his consistently fair and honest administration during his service to the public. There is no better candidate for this position that Bruce Blakeman," said New York State Federation of Police President Ralph Purdy.

These new law enforcement endorsements come as another striking blow to District Attorney Kathleen Rice, who bizarrely claims that law endorsement has shunned her congressional bid for some of "retaliation" against her.

"It's outrageous that Kathleen Rice criticizes the integrity of law enforcement and public safety professionals because they didn't endorse her. Ms. Rice owes an apology to every public servant, every first responder -- fire and police -- who put their lives on the line each and every day to protect our working families, children and seniors," said Blakeman campaign spokesman Matt Coleman.
